|THE LONGEST MILE
Released 1st November 2010
Thirsty Dog Records TDROCB0010
The Longest Mile was recorded between January and June 2010 at the legendary Rockfield studios near Monmouth in South Wales along with a few sessions at various other studios around south England. The album's been a long time coming - it's been more than 15 years since The Devil's Road - but we think it's been well worth the wait! The new music captures the distinctive sound the band have always been well-loved for, but has a fresh, modern and exciting edge. |
The album features 11 tracks that will take you from the wild energy of The Garden Song, to the painful, post-love darkness of Wreckage, and features guest instrumental additions from George Whitfield, Richard James and Phil Mills.
Produced by Phil Tennant - the man who brought us the sounds of The Waterboys, The Saw Doctors, Levellers and Tansads, and engineered by the awesome Adam Whittaker, we're so proud of the Longest Mile. We think it's our best work ever.
Hope you all agree.
